INTRODUCTION
Lumire Consulting ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information you provide when you use our website at lumireconsulting.com and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
This policy applies to all users of our website, including those who complete our Career Clarity Assessment, book discovery sessions, or purchase any of our career advisory programmes.
Our commitment: We collect only what we need, we protect it rigorously, we do not sell it, and we give you full control over it. Career information is deeply personal — we treat it with the same care your expert will treat your story.
By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) of India and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use the information we collect for the following purposes, each of which has a lawful basis under applicable data protection law:
- To match you with the right expert — your assessment responses are reviewed by our team to identify the ideal industry expert for your career situation. This is the primary purpose of data collection and the core of our service.
- To schedule and conduct discovery sessions — your name and email are shared with Calendly to enable session booking and automated reminders.
- To deliver purchased services — your plan and contact details are used to coordinate your full consultation programme.
- To communicate with you — we send session confirmations, expert match notifications, and service-related updates. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

- To process payments — your plan selection is shared with Razorpay or Stripe to complete your purchase securely.
- To comply with legal obligations — we may process your data to meet statutory, regulatory, or legal requirements.
We will never use your career assessment data to train AI models, sell to third parties, or share with employers or recruiters without your explicit written consent.
